Web Animations, Movies and other goodies for Physics-I
Your feedbacks on these sites and other related webpages will improve this blog entry, so please send responses to my email... or post your reply to this blog. Thanks.
The thing to remember is, look at general physics courses (for non-science majors in the US). These courses tend to have more animations, diagrams, and movies.
- One prime site seems to be:
http://freevideolectures.com/physics.html
it contains links to MIT and other courses on the web. - Free Resources on the web at Intut.co.uk . Excellent links.
For example, a search for "Mechanics Animations" produced one link
on Interactive Physics Simulations page. - Martindale's Graduate Physics Links
this is a part of the homepage
For animations, go to this link from the above page. - Walter Lewin's MIT Course on Mechanics (1999)
- Walter Lewin's MIT Course on Vibrations and Waves (2004)
- PhysicsAnimations.com : An excellent Resource
- Physics Java Applets at falstad.com
- Mechanical Universe at the Learner.org (registration reqd)
- How things work at University of Virginia
- Mid-America Association for Computers in Education.
- How to create your animations? Animation Physics Course.
